Fancy Dress Costume Care

 

Please see individual outfits for care instructions. To ensure the best longevity, follow the instructions on the garment. We hope your children will enjoy our outfits. Here are a few questions we have been asked in the past, and questions from our fancy dress experience. Hopefully they will help answer any questions to help your choice, regarding wear and maintenance.

 

Q: Are the costumes washable?
A: Yes. Basically, turn them inside out, wash on a short 40 degree wash. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY. Most costumes will be quite dry when you take them out of the washer. Brush the pile on the fur costumes to restore the finish.

Q: Are the fur costumes warm to wear?
A: Yes, but that doesn't stop children wanting to wear them all year round, day and night! The costumes are easy to get in and out of and part of play becomes taking the costume off and on, it will help younger children learn to dress themselves - that can't be too bad!
